The Calile is back with their feel-good event of the year. Their annual philanthropic Charity Gala will be held on Friday 19 August and you’re invited!

Lace up the heels and loosen the purse strings, because this year will see funds raised donated to Reason to Thrive.

Reason to Thrive provides unique life skills and personal development programs to support at-risk children and women whose lives have been impacted by family and domestic violence. Through experiential equine-assisted learning programs, participants can rebuild, recover and reconnect by creating a safe relationship with horses.

Hosted by Wendy Harmer and Tim Davies, the event will include an in-conversation, and live entertainment by Jean of Warner Music and Australasian Dance Collective. Canapés will be compliments of Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Lobby Bar, followed by a three-course dinner by The Calile paired with fine wine, cocktails and more.

The online auction will commence on Wednesday 10 August and includes seriously good donations from the James St community and beyond. During the gala, guests will be given the opportunity to bid on custom items and experiences too and all guests will take home a gift bag filled with treats valued at over $300.
