From the sights and smells of chef’s whipping up their culinary creations to the flavourful journey they’ll take you on, Market Day during James Street Food + Wine Trail (JSFWT) on Sunday 28 July satisfies the senses. However, it’s not just the food and drink that stimulates the senses. As the self-appointed vanguard of vibe, we couldn’t throw the street’s biggest block party without some bangers and bops to soundtrack the day with live entertainment across five different stages.

To warm up the appetite, we asked prolific producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, label owner and friend of James St, The Kite String Tangle, aka Danny Harley to whip up a playlist of tasty tunes that’ll have us trail ready.

While Danny won’t be joining us on Market Day, he sells out shows across the globe and has played festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Great Escape in Brighton and you guessed it, Coachella. On this occasion, Danny has turned his talents to curating a sizzling JSFWT playlist to hype us all up for the best day of the year.
