The last plates have been passed around, and the tables have been cleared; another James St Food + Wine Trail is in the books.

On Sunday 26 July, the precinct came alive as restaurants, cafés, bars and retailers stepped beyond their doors for a day of exceptional food, generous hospitality and collective culinary discovery.

From The Main Course to The Sides and The Afters, every corner of James St offered something to savour; whether it was a chef demonstration, long lunch, live performance or an unexpected new favourite.

Across the day, visitors wandered between market stalls, settled in for Gourmet Traveller Express Lunches, watched some of Queensland's leading culinary talent take to the Chef Stage, explored hands-on experiences with Mud Australia x Lawn Bowls and took in a new perspective of the precinct through The Calile Rooftop Garden Tours, before The Afters carried the celebration well into the evening.

None of it would have been possible without you! To every retailer, chef, producer, partner and the tens of thousands of visitors who joined us, thank you for making the 2026 James St Food + Wine Trail another unforgettable celebration of food, drink and community.
