Food for the soul, sounds for the ears – Market Day during James St Food + Wine Trail (JSFWT) on Sunday 30 July welcomes a banging mix of both.

This year welcomes 34 market stalls, 2 live stages and 3 DJ pods with the pod in Ada Lane being programmed by Ty Simon. Ty is the Director of Anyday Group – the parent company of James St residents Agnes Bakery, Biànca, sAme sAme and LOS. Ty is also a music lover with impeccable taste in tunes and the ability to spin smooth sounds behind the deck (what can’t he do!).

Last year at this very same event, Ty took to the stage with Jack Glass from Bag Raiders (photo evidence below). The result? An all-out dance party under our balmy palm trees (video evidence here).

As we warm up for the 2023 culinary celebration it felt fitting to ask Ty to whip us up a playlist to get us in a food mood – he came to the party (quite literally) with not one, but two playlists that we were whipped on.
