Foodies listen up! The annual Sips In the City lunch is around the corner…this Sunday 9 September to be exact! This year Gerard’s Bistro will be joining forces with Sue Bell of Bellwether Wines, to create a memorable and insightful five-course banquet with matched wine.

The annual Sips in The Sticks, celebrated 10 years of Bellwether Wine in Coonawarra, South Australia earlier this year in June. Gerard’s Bistro Head Chef Ben Williamson and Josie Wyatt collaborated with the local Afghan refugee community and prepared a memorable lunch with matched wine from the country’s best winemakers as lead by Sue Bell.

Similarly to Sips In The Sticks, Sips In The City will celebrate Afghan culture – Ben Williamson will be joined in the kitchen by a young and inspiring Afghan student Fatima.

Guests are invited to savour a five-course Afghan-inspired feast and gain insight into Fatima’s personal journey and the cuisine she represents paired with Bellwether wine, of course.
