As part of their parent group, Anyday’s, 12-year anniversary celebrations, sAme sAme is looking back to one of the chefs who helped shape its story from the start.

Before becoming chef and owner of Adelaide’s Kiin, Ben Bertei was head chef at LONgTIME and part of the opening team behind sAme sAme. His return to James St brings things full circle, with Bertei stepping back into the kitchen for a one-night-only menu takeover.

It’s a reunion with one of the restaurant’s original culinary voices and a fitting chapter in 12 Days of Anyday, a series celebrating the people, places and moments that have made the group what it is today.
