Join us in welcoming Heidi Middleton of ARTCLUB and Lucy Folk of her eponymous brand to James St. The fashionable duo have collaborated for an Artists In Residence at The Calile where they are hosting a pop-up concept store titled ARTCLUB X LUCY FOLK located at Shop 8, 48 James St (next to By Baby). The partnership between the pair is the first of its kind and also marks the first Brisbane store for Lucy Folk.

Both labels are Australian born, hailing from Sydney and yet each designer has a fitting connection to Queensland – Lucy resides on the Sunshine Coast, whilst Heidi is no stranger to the James St district. Prior to the days of The Calile most will remember the sass & bide store which was in the same location as the pop-up – sass & bide was Heidi’s first fashion child.

The Queensland connection is visible in the designs of both brands.  Lucy Folk stocks apparel and accessories to take you from poolside to party. The instantly recognisable bright colours, iconic cotton towelling and artistic patterns stand out amongst the day beds at The Calile. The name of ARTCLUB is ever so evident in their garments that resemble works of art with unique details of asymmetrical cuts to convertible designs all sold in limited edition.

The pop-up shop opens on Thursday 29 February for a two-month residency. Those who have been keeping up to date will know that James St Up Late on Thursday 14 March is your opportunity to mix and mingle with the designers in-store.
