50 years of the Gufram Cactus sculpture calls for a party and Living Edge has answered the phone.
On Thursday 13 October, Living Edge will be hosting a celebration showcasing 6 editions of the CACTUS, and for first time in QLD, the new collaboration between The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts and GUFRAM. In this celebration of radical Italian design, La Cova and Pratone Forever by Gufram will be presented too with a side of drinks, canapés and a special guest DJ.
The star of the show will no doubt be the limited-edition collaboration and boy, it does not disappoint. Comprising 3 Cactus versions (pictured below) – Andy’s Blue Cactus, Andy’s Pink Cactus and Andy’s Yellow Cactus – just 99 pieces of each colour exist and pay homage to the American artists Pop Art movement. All three will be on display until the end of October so you can revel in their glory.
