REDSEA Gallery is delighted to introduce international artist, Zhong Chen, for his first solo exhibition in Brisbane.

Zhong Chen is devoted to a progressive compilation of works, connecting his Chinese heritage to his current Australian journey. This self-titled exhibition is dedicated to Chen’s contemporary portraits, not only exploring traditional ink brush references, but harnessing the importance of cultural identity. As outlined figures of Chinese origin cast themselves over vibrant abstractions, Chen’s canvases come alive with energy and character. His Kung- Fu characters reflect the balance found within the paintings’ composition.

Zhong Chen’s solo exhibition opens to the public on Tuesday 8 March and will run until Sunday 3 April.
