REDSEA Gallery are welcoming in the new year with their first exhibition of 2017, “Ocean to Outback” by Craig Penny. The exhibition features an assortment of works depicting quiet coastal regions of Queensland and busy streets of Melbourne. Not only do Penny’s works offer refuge from the busyness of everyday life, but they also epitomise the sun drenched Australian lifestyle that is so familiar to us all.
Observing Penny’s body of work is like taking a dip back into your childhood. The nostalgic energy emitted from the blue hues of the sky and sea is captured through the deep colour saturation and will leave you gazing into beloved Brisbane and Melbourne cityscapes.
The exhibition is truly a nod to the Australian way of life and is not to be missed… Mark your calendars!
