We made the James St Up Late rules but we can’t and won’t be held responsible if you followed them. It’s only March but we’re claiming Thursday 14 March as the BEST night of 2024 (so far).

We transformed James St into one giant block party with over 90 opportunities to frolic with the James St residents. Newcomers to the Up Late party buzz July, Klemenza, Mud Australia, Carmen Tequileria and James & Antler all stepped up to the plate to prove they can party with the JSUL veterans.

Designers were on the block (no, none were named Jenny) with the divine Laurence Dacade direct from Paris at Maryon’s, Lara and Matt Fells in the freshly renovated St. Agni, Gail Sorronda entrancing shoppers at Gail Sorronda, Heidi Middleton at the ARTCLUB X LUCY FOLK pop-up shop and Katie Kolodinski in Silk Laundry.

We spotted you all well and truly following Rule 4 (Shake you’re a**) with DJ Francisssima spinning the Up Late tracks from Bar Tano and looking good four stories high on the side of The Calile.

Speedy shoppers scored BIG with over $10,000 worth of prizes snatched up in the Loot Booth. The street was filled with red HOT blooms from the Flower Fountain, and the lucky 1,000 that scored a James St Up Late Goody Bag wore it loud and PROUD. We saw you…
