With travelling to different continents on hold, we look to our restaurants with international flare to keep the travel (and hunger) cravings at bay. Spotlight on Gerard’s Bar, renowned for bringing Middle Eastern flavours into our backyard.
Every Sunday, Gerard’s Bar host a Shawarma Party – both fun and delicious, each week sees a different Shawarma kebab served and enjoyed with exceptional wine and cocktail creations with a side of smooth DJ tunes.
For those not in the know, Shawarma is similar to a yiros, but with a Turkish twist! Warm flatbread filled with meat cooked over an open flame and overflowing with Middle Eastern spices and sauces. The bar will be serving these delicious kebabs with sumac spiced fries and tahnin mayo, giving you the full Middle Eastern experience for $20.
