What goes perfectly with a delicious Italian dinner? Great wine, of course. In celebration of this perfect match, Bucci and Redbank wines are hosting an Italian dinner. Presented by Redbank winemaker Marc Van Halderen and Wine Selectors, guests will enjoy seven wines which best represent the Italian heritage of their celebrated winery. Diners will experience the talent of Bucci Executive Chef and co-owner Shaun Malone, who follows the Italian culinary approach of allowing the fresh flavours of natural ingredients to shine.
With a Redbank prosecco on arrival, the four-course feast opens with Western Australia scampi crudo, seeded cracker, finger lime and scampi paired with Redbank Ellora Vintage Chardonnay Pinot Noir. This will be followed by gnocchi rotolo filled with smoked ricotta and nori, Hervey Bay scallops, crustacean oil, chilli and lemon with a Redbank Fiano. Then a sweetbread cotoletta, Nduja and sorrel with a Redbank Sunday Morning Pinot Gris and a Redbank Pinot Grigio. To finish, hay baked lamb rack, salsa verde and porcini mash with a Redbank Long Paddock Shiraz and a mystery wine – Bellissimo!
