The latest exhibition to feature in REDSEA Gallery is “Above and Below” by Joseph Rolella.

Joseph Rolella is an Australian abstract artist who seeks to expose a delicate equilibrium between a senses of balance and visual calm, and the tumult of painterly texture and surface tension – the play of light at the waters edge.

“Above and Below” has been described by Rolella as “an attempt to achieve a sense of balance and calm amidst a sea of texture and surface, they play of light and colour. Essentially the work is about trying to capture light, movement, motion and how the body relates to the surround environment of the sea.”
